Thermometer
If it is damaged, it fails to establish the correct temperature, risking increasing or decreasing the temperature incorrectly.
In the sauna and Turkish bath, having the correct temperature is essential: excessive heat can be harmful to your body.
Stove
If it does not heat sufficiently, the reasons can be different: damaged fuses, damaged connection cable, control unit that does not detect the correct temperature or failed resistors.
Resistors
The resistors in electric stoves have the task of heating the surrounding stones which accumulate and release heat in the sauna environment.
The set of resistors present in an electric stove is defined as "resistor pack" and varies from a minimum of 2 pieces to a maximum of 12 pieces. In case of problems with a resistor, it is generally recommended to replace it as a whole since changing a single element would cause imbalances in power loads and, shortly after, require a new replacement. Replacement becomes necessary after four or five years.
Boiler and steam generator
These two elements characterize Turkish baths and allow steam production.
Some generators are equipped with mechanical filters for water cleaning and, due to limescale, require frequent maintenance.
Control unit
It represents the "management brain" of the electric stove placed inside the sauna. Its main purpose is to communicate with the thermostat placed inside the sauna and start or stop the work of the resistors until the set temperature is reached.
Its malfunction can affect the proper functioning of the entire sauna
