So we just need to take care of the real relaxation.
BEFORE THE HOT TUB
THE SCRUB: at least once a month, do a scrub to cleanse the skin and remove dead cells, this way the skin will be more receptive to treatment and will generally be more toned and smooth.
THE TEMPERATURE: the right temperature allows for greater relaxation and optimizes the beneficial properties of the hot tub. The ideal one is around 37 degrees Celsius – temperatures above 37 degrees promote relaxation; temperatures below 37 degrees will have an energizing and toning effect-
WARNING: Those with visible capillary problems or varicose veins should not go beyond 38° degrees: excessive heat promotes vasodilation, exacerbating the problem.
THE RELAXATION
THE MOBILE PHONE. Ban calls, messages and anything that can distract you from your task: relaxing! Silence in these cases is an excellent ally, but the right playlist can enhance the feeling of calm and quiet. Choose background music that transmits positive energy to you.
THE LIGHT. Light sources, if too intrusive, can compromise the quality of relaxation. Our suggestion to you is: turn off the light and scatter candles around the bathroom. This will certainly increase the relaxation effect and let you enjoy the experience even more.
THE DURATION. The ideal bath duration should not exceed 30 minutes. Immersion in hot water promotes dehydration. Relaxing yes, but without overdoing it.
THE COMFORT. An inflatable pillow or a rolled towel provides proper support for the head and neck. Once you've found the ideal position, all that's left is to enjoy your moment of peace.
OTHER TIPS
THE FOAM. Do you know those movie scenes with the protagonist immersed in a bathtub full of foam? That probably isn't a hot tub! If you add bath foam not specifically for hot tubs, you could have two effects:
- clog the tubes and filters of the tub (it must be equipped with special filters) with soap and foam.
- ``````html be overwhelmed by foam! The whirlpool indeed increases the amount of foam incredibly, so an excess of liquid soaps could turn your moment of peace into a funny story to tell your friends.
NO BATH SALTS! However great they may be considered, they risk ruining and scratching your tub (and your mood once you notice the damage).
YES TO ESSENTIAL OILS. Aromatherapy is based on them, which is a form of treatment based on the use of essential oils obtained from plants and highly concentrated. It has the highest potential since essential oils can be used to improve the quality and sensation of well-being and health not only on a physical level, but also emotional and mental.
An oil must be essential but also healthy, so make sure the aroma is oil-based and that this base is created from jojoba oil or olive oil. It will be sufficient to pour no more than 10 drops into the tub to have a fragrant and enveloping bath.
Last tip, but no less important: ALWAYS CLEAN THE TUB once the bath is finished; you will avoid wasting time (and thus desire) the next time.
